I'm running the same White crankset on my new Ocean Air Rambler with 44/28 rings and an Ultegra 6500 FD. works flawlessly. Also running an Ultegra long cage RD, and it handles the full range on an 11/34 9-speed cassette. Thought about going with XT, and probably would have worked fine too, but I like the Ultegra look better.
