The Quickbeam is still my preferred bike. Simple, predictable, comfortable. At times challenging and painful. But always a consistent yardstick. Always patient and encouraging when I'm lacking.
You can set it up a myriad of ways - change and add gearing options. All that being said, it's definitely a niche within the narrow-but-widening niche of Rivendell ride enthusiasts. Way back when the Coleman Green QB's were announced and sold out, I think it was done so with the knowledge that it would always be a bicycle with more limited demand. The SO was just the same model with a different manufacturing facility (Taiwan rather than Panasonic). There were never consistent offerings of the QB - they were always limited run machines. No reason to expect the SO to continue that. - Jim / cyclofiend / cyclofi...@gmail.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
