Eric, Getting them on and them being actually ridable are two different things. Yes I got them on, no they aren't ridable in the practical sense. I had them on long enough to ride up and down the street... they rubbed. The 700x40 marathons were very comfortable and fit nicely however. I actually squeezed fenders over those too.. so 700x45 may be the answer.
