I emailed Grant about how impressed I and those with me were that I could ride my bike with one arm hanging useless in the tail of my shirt pulled up over my head as a sling for the distance. I looked like an extra from Mad Max by the end of the ride. I even could ride way before I had useful recovery from the injuries too.
