Well it was a bundle and batten down your chihuahua type of day. 20˚F for most
of my ride, as I started out before sunrise, and quickly climbed to 10,000+
feet. Lots of the ride was through 1-2” of remnant snow. I came to one cleaning
and the chihuahua was less dog and more kite — someone hadn’t battened the poor
lad down very well.

Incredible views of Pikes Peak from an angle most don’t see. I passed the
“Bigfoot Crossing” sign on the Pikes Peak Highway, but it was too dark for a
photo, so it didn’t happen. Beautiful cloudless day and back by 2. What
fantastic country this is to explore and play in!
