I replaced my brake pads this spring after a year of use. Now, I nearly had to end a S24O before it started (but swapping sides worked) from brake metal on rim. I’ve admittedly done a lot more steep single track, with full gear, plus riding slow behind my daughters, so no doubt my use has increased.
