I did a portion of the Montana section last year on my Sam of the Hill Borne through Adventure cycling. They sent an email announcing the book tour and I signed up for Berkeley. Adventure cycling is a non-profit organization. You can tell because the email asked if I wanted to volunteer to help deliver snacks or prep for the event beforehand. - Love those non-profits!
Tony A. Join Adventure Cycling Association's Michael McCoy at the Corte Madera REI on October 23 and the Berkeley REI on October 24 to celebrate the release of the second edition of *Cycling the Great Divide: From Canada to Mexico on North America's Premier Long-Distance Mountain Bike Route* (The Mountaineers Books, 2013). The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route is the longest off-pavement route in the world spanning 2,774 miles from Canada to Mexico following the spine of the Rocky Mountains. McCoy researched and mapped the route in the 1990s and subsequently wrote the guidebook, first published in 2000. At these events he will discuss the creation of the Great Divide route, screen a short new video showing off highlights from the route, share slides from his own recent travels on the Great Divide, and field any questions you may have about the route that some say is largely responsible for the bikepacking and dirt-road touring movements now gaining momentum. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
