Interesting note, I had a Brooks tan B17 13 to 15 years ago and didn't have the patients for it to supposedly break in and sold it, then tried one again this year on my AHH with padded underwear, comfortable but when I took the suggestion to discard the padded underwear and just wear the Devold or like wool underwear the Brooks amazingly was even more comfortable.
