Steve, Thanks for the heads-up. Hadn't even thought of that. I've used them on the ride to Mt. Vernon in the past. Hoping to do the counter-clockwise loop this time. (It's one I did multiple times when I was out there in 2008). And Tom, thanks for the list of other shops. Didn't know Big Wheel had opened in Old Town. And might also give Wheel Nuts a try.
Am hoping to find something with wide enough tires. But no, am not going to use the bike share for that ride. Well, I could, but the extra time would probably equal a day rental from one of the other shops.
