It must be a supernatural truth: removing fenders brings rain, adding them brings sunshine.
Last night, after 2 weeks of sun and the calendar end of the "monsoon" at the end of September, not to mention no forecast of any real chancer of rain in the forseable future,I removed the fenders from the Curt. Had that nice night ride. Today: rain threatening. Earlier: after almost record breaking rains in late July and August (after a 3 year "severe" drought -- my mother's west side of the city got exactly 0.1" between Jan and June of this year; av citywide something like 1"), we had 2 weeks of sun in early Sept. Removed fenders. Immediately got a week of record breaking rain. Put them back on. Two weeks of sun as mentioned above.k Sheesh!
