Yet more on Stan's ... Late last night, putting the Fargo in the stand to shorten the chain, I noticed many goathead spikes -- tops decapitated -- sticking in the tread. I idly pulled one out only to hear the inevitable "fsssss". I spun the tire: this one took 60 seconds or so, but eventually the hole sealed. No discernable difference in pressure per the thumb test (I rode it briefly this morning with no need to pump).
2 oz per tube. Wonderful stuff, though they say it dries after a few months and has to be replenished. The 1 oz in the front Parigi Roubaix on the Ram seemed to have no solids (manipulating the tube) after 3 months -- had to toss that tube because of a leak from a previous bad patch job.
