Hi Michael, it works, but takes forever to pump up my 55mm tires. I leave it at home and bring my full size Zefal pump.
If I remember right, conversion between Schrader & Presta is a matter of just switching around the internals. I think I had to look this up on the SKS website, I didn't get any instructions with the pump.
