My wife organized a fun little vacation to celebrate my birthday and the end of summer for my daughter. We packed up the car and headed into the hills destined for Glenwood Springs. I had been through it several times but aside from stopping for gas never spent any time there. We had plans for hiking, swimming, cave tours, alpine slides, and hot springs soaking. Stuck the bike on the car "just in case" ;)
Fun was had by all and I got out on the bike all 4 days in some fashion. Awesome singletrack underbiking, spectacular canyon trails, steep never ending forest service roads, and tiny quaint mountain town side streets were the playgrounds.
