Yeah always good to have one. I've been carrying a Kryptonite cable lock but just got the Abus cable one Riv recommends. +1 what Doug said always good to carry one, what's a little extra weight to help you sleep better while camping. I also never leave my Hilsen for long even when locked as these locks will only slow down a determined bicycle thief.
