Hey Gang, I'll be riding my Hunqapillar from Portland to Seattle sometime around next weekend, and I'm hoping someone more local to PDX can offer me some guidance on route selection. I don't really want to do the I-5/STP corridor, and frankly I don't have the legs for the Mt. St. Helen's/Randle/Mr. Rainier loop... which leaves the coastal route via 101. I've heard mixed reviews of highway 30 to Astoria, ranging from 'not bad' to 'nerve wracking'. Right now my 'back of the envelope' route is Portland/Astoria/Raymond/Shelton/Bremerton/Seattle... are there other options I'm not considering?
