I know this has been covered, but I want to be sure I've got it right. I have already ordered a new 40T chain ring to convert the Sugino triple on my Sam to 40/26. Meanwhile, it looks like my rear D is shot. Will a medium cage 105 work with my 11-34 tooth cassette? The capacity should be fine (40-26=14, 34-11=13 for a total of 27). Is Shimano's maximum 30T limit to be taken seriously? Shifters are Shimano bar ends in friction mode, so should be no issue there. Thanks, Jay
