I finally picked up the Betty Foy frame and brought it back to Toronto and
built it up for my wife. I quickly put it together for the maiden voyage
but it does need a few more items and of course tweaked.

My wife doesn't care about bikes at all. She keeps a mama-chari in Japan
for transportation and rides a Trek hybrid with me on the weekends.
Typically we ride along the bike trails and have picnics. Last year I
bought us Bromptons thinking this was all we needed for the weekend rides
but the Bromptons are really horrible riding bikes and so that was an
experiment that went wrong. This year I decided to build what I call our
picnic bikes. My attempt at converting a bike I had to a picnic bike was
not successful, long story of why but not RBW Owners Bunch material. For
her I wanted to get a step through frame and the Betty Foy was the way to
go.

The maiden voyage was a success. She loves the bike. From the look of the
frame, the Albatross bars and the Hetre tires were all commented on.

There are four photos to browse. (I hope the link works)
