In browsing some Flickr photos, I noticed that some other Betty owners' frames that are painted in the stock color do not have the hearts in the lugs filled in with red paint. Woah, that was a ridiculous sentence. Anyway, does anyone know why? Was it standard back in the day NOT to have the hearts painted? Did this change in later production? Or did I get some special frame I wasn't entitled to - like some wealthy patron who changed her order last minute, perhaps... My Betty was purchased Dec 2012, if that helps.
