My friend Sergio (who is, incidently, a lurker on this list) came up with a brilliant idea: A nice long ride followed by a camp-out in his back yard! What a hoot. We rode along Minnehaha Creek, down to Fort Snelling, up the Mississippi through Mendota Heights and back to South Minneapolis. Stopped at the butcher, picked up brats, grilled them in his back yard with some other friends, set up our tents, built a fire in the fire pit, and slept out. This morning, there was a bathroom...life is good. It's actually a great idea for the urban dweller and I do believe we'll do it again!
