I hope I didn't imply that it was risky. I'm sure there are millions of trouble free Ram miles out there Jim. All I was trying to say is that the 132.5 spacing *may be* a contributing cause to the failures. The 132.5 spacing is nice to have if you want to use different wheel-sets. It most likely *not* the primary cause of any of the failures. All I was trying to say if this is a less than optimal design that could, when combined with other stronger factors, lead to failure of the dropout.
