Why not celebrate the 4th with a new bike? I still have the 64cm orange Quickbeam f/f/hs, shipped in the US for $900 with modest discounts for pickup and/or non-paypal payment. Pictures here: http://www.cord.edu/faculty/sprunger/bikes/qb/
It may be a long shot, but one of my sons is driving from Fargo to south central Kansas this Saturday. He could deliver the frame somewhere along the I29-I80-old 81-135 corridor (roughly Fargo, Sioux Falls, Sioux City, Omaha, Lincoln, York, Salina, Newton). I also am offering for the cost of shipping a few obscure items that are still quite usable. They could be added to the bike carton at no charge, or you could pick them up in Fargo-Moorhead for absolutely free. 1. Mavic M231 28h 26" rims. Pair. Silver. Built once. Great shape, probably less than 500 miles. 2. Ukai 40h 27" rims. Pair. Silver. Built once. Basic rim in good condition. 3. Specialized Turbo S tires. Mismatched pair: 700c x 25 for the front and 700c x 28 for the rear. Pair. Black with tan sidewalls. Used but ok. Pictures on request.
