Yep. I don't bash anyone's bike materiel nor their clothing. I had a carbon bike and I loved it and I rode with lycra and well I felt like a dweeb also felt obligated to go fast. That got old quick. I got tired of returning a super duper light $150 saddle cause the plastic shell broke two times, that carbon bike developed hairline cracks at the bottom bracket Cervelo replaced it. I sold it to finance my AHH. Best maneuver I've ever made. I just ran an errand on my Hilsen tonight basket up front baggins type handlebar bag, rear lights and a Cygolite just two miles RT total enjoyment, wouldn't have done that on my carbon. To each their own whatever makes you happy.
I think it's okay to discuss the merits of different paradigms as long as we don't go all Mensa about it. Oh yeah and I have some lonely lycra kits hanging in my closet if anyone on this list secretly wears the stuff you're welcome to em :-) Best, Hugh Sunland, Ca On Fri, Jun 7, 2013 at 8:52 PM, dougP <dougpn...@cox.net> wrote: > Some of my best riding buds ride CF.
