I know guys ... so many choices... tires ... bikes ... on and on :) And it's wonderful .
I thought I would want something this wide ... but realized a 40-45mm tire does just fine for me on the Bombadil . I also have custom Franklin sport/touring type of frame that I think I'll try out some 35mm Kojak's or maybe Marathon Racers on. Something speedy and fun .... where I can hear the tires whizzzzzzz and I yell out weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!! ya know ? :) Yes Patrick .....the Marathon Dureme as far as I know is just like the Supreme with a modified tread. So they just last and last and last. I guess it was not considered "tough enough" or something to replace the XR so they came up with the Mondial instead.
