On my SimpleOne, if going somewhere I might worry about the bag being
stolen, will just carry it.  Otherwise, it just stays on the bike with the
quick release.

One could flip the QR down so it is less obvious.  Otherwise, as others
have mentioned, just use an inexpensive allen key security axle.

Mine also has a second home made grip so I can switch bags quickly.  Useful
if I'm going to commute on the bike.  All my clothing fits in a larger
Carradice which then can be carried into work.

Lastly, whatever method you use, make sure the little knurled nut holds
onto the q/r securely.  Had a nice chrome once loosen up and go flying off
into the woods during a ride last year.
