The event:

I barely got on board and was camera-free (dumb phone) hoping for lots of
coverage by usual sources as I sprinted to the start. All the good stuff:
bikes, beer, worthy charitable causes and beautiful weather. The rolling
procession took a route kept secret through the East End neighborhoods and
parks of Pittsburgh accompanied by police motorcade, ending up on the lawn
at Shenley Plaza by the Carnegie Museum. The sight of 650-700 bikes
suddenly parked on the closed street on those saddle nose "event racks" was
stunning. Probably the most corrigable beer line I have witnessed as
participants queued for their taste of the seasonal premier of the 2013
Pedal Pale Ale. A beautiful day indeed.
