Apparently a newly started thread of mine got emailed to someone after getting posted on the site. I did not intend to send an email to anyone or to have my thread emailed to anyone. How does this work? Is there something in my settings I need to turn off so my newly started threads only appear on the forum, and don't get emailed directly to people?
