I had cork under cotton and really liked it. Today I switched that out with the medium thickness Lizard Skins but haven't had a chance for an extended ride yet; initial reaction is positive. At least in my limited circle I've noticed chunkier wrap and gloveless riding seem to go hand in hand (so to speak).
