Matt, the frame, fork, stem, and touch up paint arrived safely today. Thanks
for a great transaction. I felt like a kid opening the coolest looking
Christmas present.
My wife had a dubious look on her face as I unpacked the box. In her defense,
our screened porch contains my Surly LHT, 1975/76 Motobecane, a bike my 13 year
old son and I are building up together for him, and all the parts and tools
needed for that build. I really have no need for another bike, but I have
wanted an Atlantis for several years. However, when my wife saw the frame her
expression changed, and she exclaimed, "Wow! That is classic looking. I love
the color. I would like to ride a bike that color!" Fortunatley for me, the
bike is not her size. :) Although there may be a Riv in her future.
I will be patiently thinking through the build and collecting the right parts;
so it will be longer than I would like before I get the bike on the road.
Plus, I have to complete my son's bike,first. Thanks again and safe cycling.
