For what it is worth, Open Pro seems to generate a lot of comments
that quality has declined quite a bit in recent years, especially in
comparison to other, newer rims.

The Open Pro is a fairly lightweight rim (at least, the original
extrusion was - not sure how heavy the extrusions are running these
days). The modern shiny box section rim of comparable weight is the
Pacenti PL23, which has been getting praise for its well designed
channel/bean seat. Its a 23mm wide rim and provides better support for
a tire of 23mm or larger. I have a pair in the garage in 650B waiting
to be built up one the Rawland Stag shows up - its a pretty rim.

In a shiny rim, the A23 in silver is another lightweight contender,
and is basically the same width as the PL23. The H Plus Son TB14 that
others have mentioned is a classic shiny box section rim, but it is on
the heavier side, coming in on either side of 500g.

The H Plus Son Archetype comes in a high polished finish and is a
semi-aero rim lighter than the TB14, but heavier than the PL23. This
rim was the darling of the professional custom wheel builder crowd in
late 2012 until the latest Pacenti SL23 came out (sadly not available
in a silver or polished finish). I've been looking at the Archetype
for a new wheelset, but nobody in the US seems to have these in high
polish finish and it costs $50 to have a box of rims shipped from H
Plus Son in China. Anyone local want to split the postage on some H
Plus Son rims?

For what it is worth, it appears that Sun is the OEM for the nicer
H Plus Son and Pacenti rims, so maybe you want to look at the main Sun
offerings as well. They seem to be more highly regarded in terms of
quality than the current Open Pros.
