A buddy and I are headed out for an 8-day ride around eastern oregon in
less than a week. I've been fretting over tires. The Marathon Supremes that
are on there now are not nearly as worn as Jim's tire in the picture but
they're noticeably thinner than new (the rear has a pretty good flat spot
going) and there are plenty of divots, cuts, etc from 20 months of rolling
over road debris. I imagine the old tires will be fine but I'm tempted to
pick up + install new tires (perhaps Resist Nomads) before we head out.
