Going off on a tangent. I have a Dura-Ace Uniglide hub. The first and second position cogs are DA Uniglide. The remaining cogs and spacers are 7-speed Hyperglide (wide spline filed down). It all fits on the hub just fine. I've made indexed shifting work with a non-DA shifter and derailer, but it's a bit clunky.
