Here is an extreme and home made example. Most aren't bent over at the top -- misjudged length and decided to use it as a security device rather than cut it. Effective if not pretty: the front rack bag (that is what it was made for) wobbled when strapped to the Logo, but the "tombstone" keeps it rock solid even without any stiffeners.
