Amen to that! Way back in the day when I first started using 559 wheels on
road, with both a Fatboy and a Specialized Turbo wheelset. I looked at the
tires' labels which said "110 psi" so, eager to be a good citizen, I pumped
them to 110 psi. Nothing more hard and rough than a 35 mm tire at 110 psi!
I also noted how soft the Turbos seemed at the same pressure.

I read of people putting 50 lbs in their Big Apples and shudder. 30, max,
pavement, is better, at least for the 60s.

Now I run 35s at 50 to 60 and skinnies at 80 to 90 (175) and things are
much more comfortable. 60s at >=20 (~17/20) pavement, sometimes lower for
dirt if there is a lot of sand.
