Rene, There are inverse levers available for smaller diameter bars, made by dia compe and sold by Velo orange. They will be compatible with the smaller bars, or the boscos . Also available are the guidonnet levers, which can provide brake access to the curves of many styles of city bar. I have used both and they are helpful for situations such as yours.
