I've got a 1976 Super Course Mk II frame/fork (emerald green) that is, i
think, too small for me to consider building up. Anyone out there have a
21-1/2" frame they would
like to swap for a 19-1/2" frame? I keep thinking I should try building it
up, as the fellow from whom i bought it said the measurements on my frame
(19-1/2") are identical to the 1976 Super Course Mk II 21-1/2" frame BUT
for the seat tube length. His girlfriend, whom he says is 5'8" tall, rides
a 21-1/2" frame, and from the photo i saw, she has the seat post is mostly
hidden. I've been reluctant to build up the 19-1/2" frame, but i guess i
could just put a seat post in there and see how high i would have to put
the saddle.

I recently had a 1978 Raleigh Record mixte that was 23-1/2", and it was
HUGE for me. I ended up selling it to a male friend who is 6' tall, and
it's his favorite bike. That's what got me started looking for a 21-1/2"
Raleigh mixte frame. That's when the '76 Super Course Mk II came my way.
Trying to decide whether to try it our just let this one go. The Super
Course mixtes (Reynolds 531 main triangle) are just so hard to find, i
snagged it just in case.

Any thoughts?

(i'm 5' 8-1/2" and my PBH is 84.45)

probably crazy to even think about this frame, but i do know there can be
enough variables in frame sizing that there's a SLIM chance it COULD work.
