I've ridden the regular Rumpkins on my wife's Yves Gometh, but that has
been just around the block stuff. It's little.

For various reasons I've accumulated a TON of 36-38mm 650B tires. So I've
been running ~38mm tires on the Bombadil for quite a while, always kind of
longing for something wider. I've had folding Rumpkins in my Riv-Cart
several times but hadn't pulled the trigger.

Finally, going on the S24O with the Riv folks and riding the cowpaths of
Walnut Creek, I concluded "This is stupid running 38s on a Bombadil". The
sidewalls of the Grumpkins match my shellac'd burgundy handlebar tape, too,
so that sealed it. I put them on last night, and moved the Soma New
Express tires that came off onto my commuter. The Col de La Vies that came
off the commuter will go onto my Rawland in preparation for a 50-mile mixed
terrain ride with Manny.

I haven't ridden the Grumpkins at all, as the Bombadil is also getting a
minor drivetrain reconfiguration. I'm looking forward to essentially never
thinking about them.
