Guess i was really lucky that my little 12 lb dog does just fine in my backpack. He's about 3 yrs old, put him in the bag for the first time about a year ago, was worried that he'd cry and put up a fight but he never struggled. It's not like he loves being in there but it's better than leaving him at home by himself.
