David: You neglected to mention the apres ride refreshment stop, but the quality of the ride itself forgives you.
Wonderful mix of suburbia (lot of that in So Cal), rural horse country & pure fire road & single track, with a dash of sand wash. Seriously high quality miles. I'm glad the Atlantis is an easy bike to push. Almost on a first name basis with a couple of hikers on that last climb. The hills were at their most brilliant shade of green & still snow on the peaks in the distance. Air quality was A+ so the vistas from the ridgelines were incredible. AND Zero Flats, and no mechanicals! Jim's new Hunqa-parallel was totally cool with 55 mm tires. April 7 looks a good day for another gathering. Wonder where we could go? dougP On Saturday, February 16, 2013 7:37:33 PM UTC-8, cyclot...@gmail.com wrote: > > So. Well. Uhhhm, yeah. Wow. > > What a ride. Gorgeous day, fantastic compatriots.
