Not at all. The Bombadil was marketed (that word doesn't seem quite right since we're talking about RBW) as a mountain bike. It's reasonable that a mountain bike should be able to handle a 2.25 tire with mud clearance. It's not like saying, the Roadeo is great an all but why can't it handle Big Apples?
