The stresses of work and having enough time just to do things for yourself
can be daunting, if not impossible at times. Nothing a quick overnight
bike camping trip to remind you the importance of the basic things in life
and to bring you back to earth. Tried to plan a quick and imprompt
overnighter with some of the Rivendell crew. Due to school and sickness
only Dustin could make it. Never the less it was a blast. Great refresher
from a week worth of work and stress. Dustin told me about the story on how
he ended up to be the ginny pig for Mark's new Hub rack shin-dig. He was at
the shop for an overnighter trip when low and behold his bike is gone.
Apparently Grant, Brian or Mark were wondering if Dustin's bike would fit
the hub rack, so they took his bike in and fitted the rack on Dustin's
bike. Before Dustin could object he was trying the new hub rack. Rack looks
great without bags and seems like a great fit with the other Mark rack
trifecta. We both talked about what would be in store for the new bags. We
both jokingly figured that whatever bag Grant designs it would have some
quirky design. I said that maybe with the new bags you would have to clap
twice to open them or something. All in good fun.

Pictures proved that sometimes a good sleep outside is all you need to
recharge the batteries:
