You've got to be kidding: the Tubus Duo's shape is far and away the
prettiest lowrider EVER.

Now admittedly, the black version, the only one imported into the US,
doesn't look like much. The silver version (available from SJS in
England http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/tubus-duo-low-rider-rack-for-26-%
28559%29-and-700c-%28622%29-wheels-silver-prod12798/ )
is prettier, and will end up probably costing about the same as a black
one ordered from a US source.

I once saw a Vanilla touring bike equipped with a chrome plated Tubus
Duo. Now /that/ was gorgeous. (No mistake; the shape's unmistakeable
and I stopped to talk with the owner, who was shocked that I'd heard of
Vanilla, who he believed was still an unknown Portland builder. Ha!)

The shape of the Duo is unique, and it doesn't come in stainless.

It also won't fit a standard lowrider braze-on.
