Let me elaborate on what i mean by similar to a 1985 Trek 600 22.5".

* High quality steel frame or complete steel frame bike
* 56--58 cm seat tube
* Light frame and fork weighing a total of at most 2450 g; for comparison
my old 1985 Trek 600 22.5" frame and fork weighed 2250 g; so most likely
the frame will be all Reynolds 531/531CS/531C or Columbus Tenax/SL; i weigh
67 kg
* Chain stays at least 42 cm long
* Preferably eyelets on the front and rear for mounting mudguards
* BB drop of at most 72 mm so that the 650B conversion will work OK
* Cantilever brakes are OK. I know a local frame builder who can move the
bosses down to 650B.

Thanks.
Alex
