I'm signed up for the Lighthouse 200k on Saturday. For those interested it starts at the Golden Gate Bridge, head up through Marin to Sir Francis Drake Blvd in Fairfax. Then the course follows Sir Francis Drake all the way through Samuel P Taylor Park until it hits Highway 1 in the tiny town of Olema. Then there's an out and back to the Pt Reyes Lighthouse. Then you scooch around and up Tomales Bay to Marshall. That leg is another out and back. Then you go through Pt Reyes Station and go around Nicasio reservoir to return to Sir Francis Drake Blvd, head back to Fairfax and through Marin the way you came. The weather report says cloudy but no rain, high of 54.
I'm pretty badly under-prepared, but I've done this ride twice before, so I'm determined to get 'er done slow and steady. I checked the signup sheet and see Manny and Esteban are signed up to do it as well. Are there any other listers planning to do the Lighthouse 200? Or the 100?
