RBW-locals may be interested in the smithing demos which take place up at Old Borges Ranch, set right there among the hills of Shell Ridge Open Space (or what I affectionately proclaim as 'Rivendell Country!').
For a small materials fee ($5 iirc?), you too may stoke the forge and pound some iron. I made me a decorative hook... though I bet Ranger Dan would be open to other ideas.
