Anne, In one of the Readers, somewhere Grant said the 2 was because there was previously a bike called an Atlantis (Bridgestone, if I remember correctly, but not one of his designs); he liked the name enough to use it (it IS a great name), but, added the 2 because it's a '2nd generation' or 2nd version, something to that effect....
