So I want to do a 40/24 double mod with a Sugino double FD. Any suggestions out there? Stainless? Aluminium? More than 24t on the granny? Lessons learned? Chainrings you are happy with? I've been talking offline with Keven (original inspiration?), lister Jeremy (who is going to help me out once i dial in the parts/setup) and lister Zach who made the mod himself... but I wanted to open it up to the group.
