I might have been able to fit R + R plus fenders, but not Longboards, and wider fenders don't play well with the Tektro R559 sidepulls that are on the bike. I suspect you could get a fender wide enough to handle the R + R tires if you replaced the sidepulls with some Paul Racers, and I actually gave it some thought, but it would have required some additional work, and no guarantee it would pan out, and anyway I like the way the brown Delta Cruisers look with the Longboards, so I think I'll try this combination out for a while and see how it goes. If it turns out I really miss more air under my wings (speaking metaphorically), maybe I'll try the R + Rs (or some Duremes or Supremes - maybe some Marvellettes?) under a set of Racers and some wider Honjos.
