I too found that I prefer narrow bars -- the 42s on the Fargo feel better
than the 46s I traded them for; and I'm not particularly wide in the
shoulder.

But! Narrower bars do not work as well, at least for me, off road: the
Fargo on tech sing tr is scary! -- not that I ride tech s tr much.

FWIW, I've got 42 and 44 cm Noodles (your choice) to trade for something
longer and shallower and no wider. I note that the Noodle has the same
reach and drop as the 185s (90 and 140) but given the sweep-back, the ramps
are longer and flatter. I want something with ramps longer and flatter
still.
