It was 30 degrees at 8 this morning in Walnut Creek, and 15 higher up on Mt Diablo. I suggest starting at 10 am to give folks some time to gather and for it to warm up a bit, but maybe 9 am would work too. RBW will be closed, so meeting at BART might make the most sense. Pleasant Hill BART is more bike friendly than Walnut Creek BART, and it's adjacent to a MUP that can take us to the foot of the mountain with minimal traffic. Snow is forecast for the top of Diablo this weekend.
