I too, absolutely love the 'possum stuff. If it was a synthetic fiber, I
would nominate the designer for a Nobel Comfort Prize. I have slowly been
giving away the Bicycle Bill Hats to friends each holiday season with the
hope of spreading 'possum throughout the known universe, but here's the
rub: I, myself, have decided that my skin - particularly when I'm sweating
- is reactive to the fibers and I've had to stop wearing my marvelous hats!!

Unfortunately, I get super-itchy, red, and pins-and-needles all over my
scalp, and finally decided it wasn't gonna work. It is a testament to the
'possum that I've actually decided to endure considerable discomfort at
times when I've decided, "hell, I love this thing. I'm wearing it anyway!",
but I just can't do it anymore. Has anyone experienced anything similar, or
have any suggestions? I am actually grieving the inability to wear this
stuff. In the meantime, I will continue to preach the gospel and share
'possum wool products from Riv.
